Non EU national Indian/ EEA-EU National Wife to WORK IN UK

Post new topic

I would like to know whether our situation permits my wife-to-be and me to live and work in the UK.

My (Terry)nationality : Indian, Non EU CITIZEN, Multiple Schengen Entry Visa valid for 3 yrs (untill July '14) - currently in Mumbai

My (Judy) Fiance: Hungarian, EU Ctizen - currently in London

I have completed my MBA Intl Business from London School of Commerce, London Bridge and have stayed and worked part time worked in London from Oct '08 - April '10.

Judy has been in London from Jan 2011 - till date. We plan on getting  married in Jan 2012.

Q.

1) Where do you suggest we get Court and church married, Mumbai or Budapest.

2) I do understand the UK Family Permit regulations for EEA members (UKBA.com). However would it be too early to us to move in feb/mar 2012, as we are getting married in Jan 2012

3) What other option (visa/permit) do we have to head to live&work in UK.

Reason being: Im being adviced that it may be to early to move to UK, as our case may not weigh much, if we are applying from the Indian Uk EMbassy, Im also being advised to head to Hungary, post marriage, apply for EU work permit and then apply for UK Family permit.

Pls advice

I don't know the response to your query but I
would like to know one thing?

Why are you so keen to live and work in the UK?
Does it have to be the UK? If so, why?

Neither you or your wife are from the UK so
I don't get it.

I am sorry mate, I would like to ask you the same question. Why do you lib=ve in KSA while you are not originally from there?!.

No need to answer. But I think this could help you answering the question you asked!

Good luck!

to me, the UK seems like a logical location if the OP went to school in the UK and both of them speak the language.
