Justice of peace landlord tenant

Hi All,

i was a tenant in an apartment for 7 years.

During my 3rd year of stay the previous landlord sold the house to current landlord. New landlord was fine towards me until I vacated the house.

i paid 3 months of rent because I had to leave the country/Europe,

while vacating the apartment, she said that for a few marks on the hard wood floor, she need the whole deposit. I said that for these few marks why would anybody want to replace the whole wooden floor of the apartment. I declined and said that a hardware person would apply varnish where the marks are present.

note : i did say that I can apply varnish myself. She said, no to that

and said she want to replace the whole hardwood floor.

she want to proceed with the justice of peace.

can anyone share the experiences about this justice of peace ?

I wanted to hire a lawyer/ attorney. Any leads/suggestions on how to find a lawyer/attorney in liege.
