Contact advocate for a SRR visa

Post new topic

Michaelm54

I’ve used the balikbayan privilege visa for two years. I’m going to Vietnam for 10 days and extend it another year. For me, a SRR visa looks like a good choice because I don’t mind parking $10k USD that my wife can collect if I croak and I fit all the other requirements.

Are there any guys here that have a non ex-military SRR visa (because it looks like the requirements are different, and I’m non military).

My question is about making contact with a reliable advocate to work with on the documentation, fees and $10k deposit.

thank you in advance for any help.

I'm just finishing up my SRRV with the military discount. I think the only difference is you don't submit the DD214 so you only have your proof of income sworn statement notarized at the US Embassy, unless you already have that apostilled. There are a couple other docs that need to be notarized at the local level but I just paid the agent's assistant P200 to do all that. I'll message you the agent's info I used.

I have SRRV for 17y.

You don't need a lawyer

At the Philippine Retirement Authority the use marketers. I csn recommend one that dies not charge for assisting with tje application.

Did you have any problems getting your second Balikbayan on arrival after your holiday. My Balikbayan one year is up in March next year and I'm thinking of doing the same. Someone told me that the Balikbayan was a one off, and could be extended by six months . After that I will apply for 13A visa.

One can keep getting a new BB stamp in their passport IF they keep leaving the country before the 12th month is up. They leave for a min of 24 hours, then reenter (WITH THEIR SPOUSE ON THE SAME INBOUND FLIGHT, THATS THE KEY...) & keep renewing the BB stamp for another year. If one doesnt leave the country at the end of the 12th month, THEN they are simply put on a tourist visa, which then means they get the first 30 days free, then can get a 29 day extension, THEN can extend it (for a fee) for 1, 2, or 6 months.
