Pass Issued - Housing Requirement

Hi everyone, would like to ask If anyone entered into the same situation or have any experience regards to the below matters:

I recently got my IPA approved today (Indonesian, 24 yes, SPASS), and I would like to go to Singapore tomorrow.

However, my 2-year housing lease start from October 26, 2023. Since my IPA got approved earlier, I reach out to my friend, Indonesian student  who already back to their home country but still have contract lease to the end of October.

Thus, I will continue their room lease until I’m starting my 2-year lease on 26, October 2023.

Hence, further to my reading MOM website, to get the pass issued they need “Candidate's Singapore residential address, which must meet the housing requirements for you to get the pass issued”.

Accordingly, would like to ask, Is it okay if I register the address with the continuing agreement from my friend (2 weeks)?

Because the duration is in short term (2 weeks), I am afraid MOM will not proceed my pass without the new lease agreement.

(note that my 2-year lease agreement was not ready before October 27, 2023). Thank you.

It should be o.k.

Alternatively, you could register at your employer's address.
