"Process mutasi" move imigrasi files from Jakarta to Bali.

Hi all, I have moved from Jakarta to bali. The imigrasi here in Bali said I need to do "proses mutasi" which was only explained that I have to go back to my immigration office in Jakarta and ask for this proses to be done.

Such a shame the Bali office just can't ask Jakarta for this.

So I'm going to Jakarta next week - but have no idea what paperwork I'll need. (I have all originals and copies of the usual docs (KTP/kk/new Bali Surat domisili and.more).

Any have experience of this?

Fred

Yes, but from a long time ago.

Take every document you might need, and every document you don't think you'll need.

That includes birth certificate, passport, and every document you have ever got from any official.

You'll need them if you don't take them.

@Fred

Yes okay thanks! . I'll take everything document I possess 😂.

I have a doubtful hope I can do this in one visit.

Fred

When I did Wonosobo to Tangerang, I did it in one go.

However, Tangerang told them I was coming so everything was ready.

That was at a time when gratuities were normal, so things might well be different now.

@Fred thanks Fred.

Update. This is the info I obtained from imigrasi.

I followed the procedure for the documents, BUT it still took 3 visits because they said I had to change certain details.

It was frustrating because I sent a copy to WA number of 11 documents and asked them to check before I went.

They confirmed everything was in order. When arriving to process, they said blah blah was wrong  and also 1 form was completed using pen and should be typed.

I double checked with the mantle WA number and they said Pen was okay!.

I find the whole idea that we as individuals have to do this when surely it could just be done by 1 office calling the other and telling them I've moved house!

Ho hum.

Now waiting 3 days for 'processing'
