Pros & Cons of Engineer visa in saudi

Folks! What are the pros & cons of having engineer visa in saudi ?

As I checked there is no requirement of Consulate /Culture attestation as saudi is apostille country now and require only apostille.

Manpower company is offering technician visa and informing we could have family with that! is it true ?

with Family status, it is intended for the employee to pay the levy on monthly basis.. why is it so and how much is levy normally?
