Hallo me (Indonesian) and my husband (German) will move to Quy Nhon because of my husbands work next year.  So I am happy to read in here that there are group of expats living there :)

Right now I am still searching of work possibilities, what could I do as foreigner in QN. I am an architect and designer, but I am open for any other job possibility like remote job or something else in QN. Teaching languages (German or English) would be cool too, but I don't have any certificate as a teacher and I can't speak any vietnamese. I am considering to open an small business, like open Airbnb room for backpacker, as QN becoming more touristic. Is that for foreigner posibble to rent out rooms? Any advice?

Don’t know much about QN. It’s a provincial capital so it’s not as developed as like nha trang, à tourists spot. Your being an architect, you should be able to work  online, drawing your project design blueprint and transmit it digitally, the only problem is you can not be conveniently at the project site. As for teaching English, not sure German is in any demand in viet năm., but for English teaching, besides a teaching certificate, the ministry now requires you to go through locally in vn a certification program before being hired I think, somebody else can get you more details on this or search this forum for specific thread on this subject. Lastly running an Airbnb, that is a whole different enterprise dealing real estate and landlord type activity that I am not sure foreigners can get into. Sorry to sound negative on it, but you would want to talk to a local legal counsel to avoid running into with the law there.
