I'm not sure you need either a gestor or an immigration attorney! I did it a few years back without any professional help... although I regretted not taking an interpreter with me. :-) You're an EU citizen, and thanks to Freedom of Movement, you're entitled to relocate to any EU country (including Spain) for any reason.


The process you need is EU Citizen Registration (Certificado de Registro de Ciudadano de la Unión Europea, and you'll need to book an appointment online.

Depending on your status when applying (employed, self-employed, not economically active) the exact requirements can vary. But typically you need proof of address, proof of sufficient funds, and proof of health insurance.
