Tea Houses

Post new topic

Borka

Hey once again,

do you know any nice tea houses in Malta? By Tea House, I mean a place where is a nice wide range of "LEAVES" teas (no tea bags). Couple of years ago, I made a "research" there and found just one little tea house in Valetta with only some kinds of tea bags but many coffes :D...

I hope something got to be opened since then, as I really love tea and  my 20kg luggage is not even sufficiant for clothes and books... :D

thanks!

A friend of mine spoke well of this place in Birkirkara, I haven't been myself :

thanks once again!

I believe it may be rather recent.
If ever you schedule a trip to Paris, France, don't miss "Mariage Frères" stores; I'm sure they'd ship to Malta, but it would become expensive.

I found few days ago a beautiful place. It's called " SHANTEO Tea Boutique" at Le Meridien Hotel, St Julians. Tea lovers gonna die for this place :). You can find a biggest variety of loose leaf teas in Malta at Shanteo tea shop. They have more than 60 kinds of teas and different infusions and very tasty Belgium chocolate. You should go there even in case if you are looking for accessories.  At this Kingdom of the Tea you can get more than just a tea. Shanteo FB page is facebook.com/shanteoclub. I hope that my discovery will help  other tea lovers...
