hi does anyonem know if the law changed in 2023 letting a vacationer stay for 180 days instead of 90 days .

Yes, as of September 2023 Canadians will receive a 180 day visa stamp when entering Costa Rica.

@lsnorthernfoodthe new policy is 6 months instead of 3 which is great for those of us that live there and dont want to leave every 3 months

@Llholly this is up to the discretion of the border guys. They can give yo 10, 20, 90 or 180 days depending on their mood. Don't get fooled. 180 isn't guaranteed.
