How to check if CRNM is ready for pickup

Post new topic

mikehunter

Hello everyone.  Happy Holidays.  I finally got published in the DOU and went to the PF and successfully applied for the CRNM renewal, and received a sheet of paper for my temporary 3 month CRNM while my card is being made.  I checked the QR code on the form and saw where my CRNM has expiration date online of INDETERMINADO, so everything good.

My question is how am I notified that my new card is ready to be picked up at the PF?  Is there a website I can check?  I don’t remember how I was notified when my 2 year card was ready for pickup.

I tried this webpage:

https://www.gov.br/pf/pt-br/assuntos/imigracao/outras-informacoes/consultar-andamento-de-processo-solicitacao

And clicked on the “Para acompanhar o andamento do processo/solicitação relacionado aos serviços abaixo (clique aqui).”

but when I complete the form, I receive a Java error.  It’s not my browser because I’ve had friends check.  So I’m thinking maybe it’s not the correct method.

Anyway, any help would be appreciated if anyone has done this recently.

Thanks much!

Bom dia Mike!

When mine was ready, they just sent me an email  to the email address I had on file.  Super easy.  Was ready in about a month.  Boa sorte com tudo!

@MA22 Bom dia!  That does make it easy.  Thanks for taking the time to reply!

True.  To access some Brazilian sites, I need to pause my VPN to get through.

Also, some Brazilian sites respond better to Firefox than to Chrome and its clones.

I received an email with the subject 'Comunicação de disponibilidade documento de estrangeiro' once the CRNM was ready for pickup. It took a month after my residency application. If you want to check the status, send an email to the PF.

Thanks to all for taking the time to comment.  Much appreciated!

@abthree @bepmoht I’m not using a VPN and I tried with Firefox, Edge, Chrome and Safari and all of them received the same Java error.  I then called a friend and had him try… he was using Claro from his phone and received the same error - so I’m not sure if they have a problem or if they just don’t have a method for checking status of CRNM via the internet and you need to wait for an email notification as mentioned by @ma22 and @martinsan.  The website I tried (link above) looked like it was correct, but either it isn’t or is broken.  Hopefully I’ll get an email in a week or so….

@mikehunter i have the same problem viewing this website. For government websites this is what I would do on Safari: no VPN or adblockers, “refresh without content blockers” and “reduce privacy protections”, and turn private relay off temporarily.

And then change the language (upper right corner) from English to Portuguese and refresh the page. then it would somehow start working.

This year i received an email from the policia federal as well, when my crnm was ready after around two months. However i didn’t receive an email last year so it good to have this site working.

@rocade Changing the language to Portuguese worked.  I didn’t even have to change any adblocker setting, content blockers, etc.  Figures it would be something that simple.  Thanks for posting that tip.  So the website is correct and it works, you just have to make sure you do the query with the language set to portuguese.  1f60d.svg

Could the persistent Java error, experienced across various browsers and devices, including mobile, when trying to check the CRNM status, be attributed to a flaw on the website, connectivity issues, or maybe a compatibility issue with the microphone functionality?

I've check frequently and the few times I've gotten an error, I just refresh and start over and it goes through.

Hi, I know this is an old conversation, but replied here in case this is an issue for new users of the Policia Federal portal. I discovered that immediately refreshing after opening the link avoids the 'expired' error. This  forced a fresh download of the webpage in place of the cached page on my pc or phone. Changing language worked OK after the refresh.
