Hi ,

Agriculture doesn t seem to me a good option :

It is not an agriculture country ,  small properties handled usually by families.

Hard to adapt in rural areas as a foreigner

Hello, I would want to seek advice from all of you. I have an Estonia Tourist visa in process through the Belgian consulate in my native country (Nigeria). I've read several stories on here about people's experiences with the long wait and their visa applications being forwarded to the foreigners office, as it is currently happening to me(25days today of Application submission). But my query is; my intended date of arrival in the EU area is in 7 days, but I just received the email of Application transfer to Foreigners Office, which I am sure will take more than a week for their Decision, but the difficulty here is;

My intended date of arrival to the EU territory is in 7days, but I just received the email of Application transfer to Foreigners Office, which I am sure will take more than a week for their decision, but the problem here is that I have paid hotel reservations and sightseeing tickets for the intended date, which should start in 7days time, and I have a grace period to cancel and refund if my travel date changes, but I will not be able for refund again from the first day of the intended arrival. SHOULD I CANCEL THE ITINERARY? Will it have no effect on my decision?

Please What Step should i take ? I will so much appreciate your advice and respond, Thanks in advance

@Julien: I'm a oversea Nigerian/based hospitality job seeker into Estonia where English language is acceptable means of communication in the workplace while I learn required language(s) on the job.  Though  seeking employer's sponsored Temporary Residence Permit for seamless & timely relocation but would also gladly welcome employer's just offer of employment! However,  the later won't be a piece of cake but I'll try provided all other things been equal from employer's end like staff paid or unpaid accommodation, referral/supports through immigration processes...

I'm Shai Lysk, a dedicated Project Manager with a rich and diverse background shaped by my experiences living in the USA, England, Mexico, France, Thailand, Indonesia, and Estonia. Growing up between the USA and England, I've developed a unique perspective that blends different cultural insights and practices.

Since 2012, I've shared my life with my wonderful husband, and together we've explored numerous countries, making unforgettable memories along the way. My professional journey is supported by an educational background in education, marketing, sociology, and management, equipping me with a broad skill set that I apply to my role as a Project Manager.

Outside of work, I am passionate about photography, exploring new restaurants and bars, and travelling to new destinations. I find joy in watching cartoons, hosting dinner parties with friends, and enjoying walks. Additionally, I embrace nudism as a part of my lifestyle.

A personal motto that I live by is: “If you have more than enough, build a bigger table, not a higher wall.” This philosophy drives me to foster inclusivity and generosity in both my personal and professional life.

I am currently living in Tallinn with my husband. it would be great to meet other expats and find some friends.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me!
