Hello!

I’m Leo Wong, 29 yo. A few years back, I made the big move from China to San Francisco. I started off with a student visa and after finishing my studies, lucked out with a 5-year residency visa. Now I’m working at a local consulting agency.  In the future, I’m planning to relocate to Canada. I’m excited to be part of this community!

Hello! That's awesome. Why Canada?

Matias Ortiz

Hey hello everyone, my name is Matt and I just moved here in April from Argentina to Roanoke, Virginia. My reason to move here it's because I got married in 2020 during the pandemic via zoom and we couldn't meet with my wife after the pandemic ended in the world. Thank God I'm finally with my wife after 3 years of waiting in my country, but I was given the green card and everything went well. I would love to meet people from my country in the area or people that speak Spanish, or people near me to make new friends in the area. I'm really happy to be here and I hope I can have more new friends.

Hello everyone! I'm currently planning my move to the U.S. and excited to join this community. I'm originally from Kenya and work as a real estate advisor, specializing in both local and overseas investments. I'm looking forward to connecting with fellow expats, learning about the culture, and picking up any tips to make the transition smoother. I enjoy sports, networking, and exploring new places, so I can’t wait to see what new adventures await!

Hi am Getty from Ghana

Michael Chege

Hello, I'm Michael from Kenya. Recently immigrated to USA and currently residing in Hawaii, Waimea.

My reason for moving to Hawaii is work. I had secured a job via Upwork (freelance website) as a Data Scientists for one of the largest farms for Cucumber and Lettuce in Hawaii and was working remotely.

We had applied for several Visas and I was lucky enough to be selected for the H1B lottery. I'm in the country for 3 years (hopefully more) but, I'm excited to be here and learn all these is to learn about life abroad.

Thank you.

Hello Michael.

Congratulations – that’s such an exciting step! Wishing you an incredible experience as you settle into life abroad.

I’m Kenyan as well and will be joining you there soon. It’s inspiring to see fellow Kenyans thriving in different parts of the world. Looking forward to connecting with you in the future and learning about your experiences.

All the best as you embark on this journey.
