Tourist visa extension application

Hi!

I want to extend my Tourist Visa now, can it be done only via coming to the PIO(Passport Immigration Office) in Port Louis? Or can I apply online? Also if I need to come, do I need to print all the documents in advance or can I just show tickets/bank statements there? I tried to contact PIO but no one is answering the phone.

Hello Dmytro,

visit the office in port Louis. There is no online facility available.

You need to submit All the documents in hard copy with the visa application form. So take a print of every thing.

Document checklist:

-Visa Extension Application Form duly filled and signed by applicant

-Photocopy of the Bio data page of applicant’s passport + Page on which Arrival Stamp has been affixed,

-Copy of Ticket reservation,

-Upon approval , confirmed ticket should be produced,

-Bank statement for the last three months,

-Have a confirmed booking for accommodation in Mauritius

Visa is free of cost
