Yes, same. Have noticed issues within past month or so. cant recall if using turkcell or turktelecom.  My workaround is using cellular data with surfshark on my phone. not ideal but works fine. Appears Turkish providers have updated their firewalls/etc.

Also noticed surkshark has a new service Dedicated IP for an additional fee. asked them about it and they will not guarantee a connection. if i try will update.

I use surf shark in TUrkey. It has been quite hard to connect recently. I didn't know there was some kind of recent blockage. It is good to know. I don't have any work around.

Please be advised that Surfshark is not a reliable VPN service, and using it may result in the loss of your social accounts or even block your financial accounts. It is highly recommended that you create your own VPN instead, which can cost as little as $5 per month. Doing so can ensure your IP address is clean and safe from fraudulent activity. The GOV won't block it as it's not on their radar. (Like all other VPNs that are grouped). The problem with Surfshark and other similar services issue non-clean IP addresses (Over 1 million people use the same IP), which may be shared with fraudsters and criminals. Therefore, it's essential to be cautious and avoid using such services to prevent suspicious activity that can trigger flags on your social and bank accounts. Legitimate services can't tell if you are a good or bad actor. Since you own your IP address, your bank and social accounts will see it as a safe IP address.

Imagine sharing a Surfshark IP address with a person in Nigeria, and you use your bank app or social media account with good intentions. If that IP address is reported as fraudulent due to that Nigerian, your bank may block it and ask you to verify your session with challenges or send you a message. Similarly, your social media accounts may suspect suspicious activities and subject you to verification. It's worth noting that IP reporting is instant, and blacklisting can happen quickly.

Consider whether you want to share an IP address with others. Opting for Surfshark dedicated IP doesn't necessarily mean you're alone. You'll still share the IP with a large group, perhaps 100,000 people instead of 1 million. If you're concerned about online privacy and security, consider creating your Virtual Private Network (VPN) instead of a public VPN service.

Alternatively, you can use DuckDuckGo's free VPN service, which is routed through Cloudflare and based in Germany. Although it is still shared, it uses the same process as Private Relay (individual ID) created by Cloudflare for Apple. (Their proprietary brand is named Cloudflare Warp.) I won't go into technical details as it can be pretty complex.

Access GEO-restricted content for the US/UK/EU/AU etc. For example, consider creating your own OpenVPN Access account, which requires a connector, which is your IP. If you want a safer browsing experience, consider downloading the DuckDuckGo browser or using Cloudflare Warp. Take it to the next level, or use both, and you'll have created your own double-down network for FREE, which is super fast.

Apart from being an illegal service, thus there's no guarantee your subscription money won't be taken but you get nothing in return, it's expensive.

I recommend avoiding sites where you pay for illegal services.

We have managed a small work around but it's only temporary until the electric cuts out (we use a firestick). Try connecting to a server on Surfshark. It probably won't actually connect, but wait for a few minutes, then disconnect the wifi, then turn back on. Restart the firestick (if you have one), then go back to Surfshark to see if it has connected successfully. The chances are you'll need to repeat the process several times. There's no guarantee it will work, but it did for us ... eventually. I can't get Surfshark on the other devices unfortunately (laptop and phone). Surfshark Support haven't been helpful.

On my phone I've been using Wirescribe, which is free but only provides 10gb per month freely.
