I will be shipping household stuff from the US, but looks like too much for a 20ft container, but a 40ft container would leave a lot of space. Considering the import and tax break on new items, what are some good things to ship over, or have shipped over? It will arrive towards the end of build so not good for construction materials, although I may consider a garage door, but I think storage and transport would offset the price in Philippines (and the hassle of it). I'm thinking of things that are more than double the cost in Philippines or not even available here, and of course I do not intend to ship anything illegal, or resale, but stuff I could use.

Edit: Wow , I just say KJWilde post on what to bring, I guess this is a duplicate so will delete it , doubt anyone has anything new to add

Depends on the needs of the individual. There is no hard and fast rule or shopping list on what to bring. If I were shipping a 40' container, knowing what I know now, I would include double pane windows, insulated entry doors and attic insulation.

I believe double pane windows would lower the cost of air conditioning. The vinyl and aluminum windows that are available at Lowe's or Home Depot are very affordable and good quality with tight fitting screens. Just open the windows if you don't use air conditioning.

My house has the typical locally made windows that have no weather stripping and the screens also fit poorly so lizards can come and go as they  please.

I would love to have a bunch of R-30 Owens Corning or Johns Manville attic blanket bats spread out across my attic. I have plenty of workers to do the job but try buying insulation in the Philippines. I did try to buy sacks of rice hulls to spread in the attic but I was never able to connect with a seller. Ice dealers manage to buy rice hulls to slow the melting of blocks of ice and it is highly rated as insulation.
