Public transportation in Pattaya

Post new topic

Armand

Hi all,

What do you think about the means of transportation in Pattaya ?

Is the network of means of transportation well developed?
What modes of transport are available?

Do you use them?

How much is a fare?

Are they relatively safe?

What is the mean of transportation you use the most in Pattaya?

Thanks in advance for participating!

The best way to get around is by baht bus...these are small pick up truck type buses,10 people capacity....they operate on all the major roads, just flag them down, and they will stop ,the fare is 10 baht irrespective of howlong the ride is,pay as you get off.
There are also motobike taxis everywhere, fares vary on distance, beginning at 30 baht.Agree a price in advance on a motobike taxi.
You can always hire a motorbike yourself, but this is NOT RECCOMENDED....the roads can be crazy.

The baht buses are obviously safer than the motorbike taxis, cheaper too.Its also easy to walk around pattaya, once you get your bearings.
