Public transportation in Armenia

I am Armenian so I think I can answer this question. The transportation is very inexpensive in Armenia.

The most common form of transport is the minivan. The cost is 100 dram equivalent to about 40 cents I guess maybe a little less.

For the safety of transportation I will remain silent, many accidents occur daily because of the heavy traffic and crazy drivers.

Taxis are inexpensive as well they start from about 600 drams (2 dollar or so) and can be more depending where you need to travel.
It is always better (price wise) to call a taxi than to stop it in the middle of the street.

There is also a subway it used to cost 50 drams but I believe the price changed this summer but I am sure is still acceptable.

And again minivans can take you to other regions and cities of Armenia but I don't know the prices.
