Hello

I'm moving out of my current apartment and someone told me I should notify the immigration of the address change. However, my new place doesn't have Anaf.

Am I required to notify the address change ?

Yes, you need to notify IGI of address changes.

@romaniac

do I have to submit new documents again or how does it work ?

And if I don't, what are the consequences ?

Thank you for replying

You will need to pay the fees, submit proof of the living space at the new address, etc....if you have a rental contract, it must be registered with ANAF.

It must be done within 30 days of moving otherwise you will be fined.

For the change of address for residency you have to submit  all the documentation as if it was your first time. As an EU citizen, I didn't have to provide proof of address eg. Lease.
