@wisgary  I’m in a similar predicament with mbc.  I enlisted the help of a company in Spain called Settle Easy.  The bottom line is, I will not be covered in Spain for my first year for this condition.  I will have to fly home for my scans which are prohibitively expensive to pay for out of pocket, even in Spain.    Fortunately, I now have Medicare so, that will pay in America.  I will be paying for insurance in two countries.  Because I’m not yet 65, my medicare is very expensive however, my Spanish coverage is around $100 .  Before I got Medicare I was spending $1,400 per month for my healthcare insurance so, this will still save me money.  My point is, don’t let money be the reason not to go.

The cover sounds incredibly cheap, be aware you must declare any existing medical conditions otherwise your assurance company might decline payments or increase the premiums. . I would check that the company that organised this cover for you declared your condition. Good luck.
