Hi all,

We are a Dutch family of four, two boys aged 3 and 1, and are planning to visit Mauritius later this year as we are really excited about a possible move and want to get a good understanding of the possibilities on this beautiful island. My husband and I are both self employed fractional managing directors in sales and healthcare based in the Netherlands. We would love to connect with other Dutch families living in Mauritius, who are or can get us set up with (small) business owners or Dutch expats.

Will bring stroopwafels and DE koffie! Thanks in advance

@Laura8879, I had a smile when I saw your post....

A dutchie is a Canadian sweet doughnut popularized by the Tim Horton doughnut chain.  It's one of my favorites.

Yes, I love dutchies (the doughnuts) and most likely I would like the Dutchies (people).

Good luck in getting together with your compatriots.

@Laura8879 we (Dutch family of four) will go to Mauritius beginning of August to stay for 4 months. I will work remote from there. Our kids are 12 and 14 and will go a semester to a secondary school. If you need any practical tips, maybe I can pass them on, because we got a lot of that. Ciao, Sjoerd
