Hi, I’m currently employed in Germany (Raum Schwäbisch Hall), I have a rental in the UK with my partner and also a Ltd Company, where I drawer a wage.

im looking for an accountant who is familiar with the process of the double tax treaty.

Any recommendations? Thanks.

Any German tax consultant (Steuerberater) should be able to interpret the Germany-UK tax treaty, apply its content to your yearly tax declaration and communicate all issues with your local tax authority (Finanzamt). Contact a few in your area and ask whether they have actual experience with such issues!

A German adviser will not be able to fulfill any UK declaration and taxation duties, so you will most likely need to engage another professional there. And keep in mind that in international tax matters, on top of the additional effort, you are more likely to be double taxed than to save some.
