Hi I've done a search on here as I've not actually had to use the postal system yet, but seems like services are constantly improving here so thought I'd see what the latest is!

My great grandma is quite lonely these days as her health is not so good at the moment (my Mum lives a few hours away so can't visit all the time).

While it's nice to call her of course, I'd really like to send her post every now and then as she doesn't use email, but I'm not sure what the best way to do that is from here? It seems like couriers like DHL are really expensive for sending not very much at all (I'm just talking about sending cards, maybe the odd gift but nothing too heavy).

Are there any alternatives? I've seen some historical posts elsewhere that say Saudi post is unreliable, but has that got any better? Really grateful for any advice! thanks!
