Temporary residency and civil union

Hi, everyone! I'm Elenitita, and I'm planning to move to Chile to live with my girlfriend of 6 years, who is a Chilean citizen. I was hoping you lovely people could help me out with some questions!

I've done a lot of research, but I haven't been able to find answers to this question: Can I apply for a temporary residence visa if my girlfriend and I are registered as a civil union?

Most sources I've read only mention having to show a marriage certificate as proof, while some other sources mention proof of a civil union agreement. I just wanted to know if anybody in here knows for sure if a civil union is "enough" for an application?

Thank you all so much in advance for your answers! 1f60a.svg
