F card based family reunification

Post new topic

Hi All,

Just want to post here as a master thread where you could just share your timeline of applying for an F card based family reunification with a Belgian

Please indicate clearly if it is reunification with a Belgian spouse or a Belgian child (as even you still live with your spouse, it is recommended to apply based on your Belgian child for simplified requirements).

The duration will be 6 months and if you got it shorter than that, please share.

After approval of visa D family reunification,we just went to the city hall and requested for F card.

It took only 10 days I think.

In my case: married with Belgian spouse

Hey, I am in the same situation. How it went for you? did you end up applying on the basis of child and how long it took for you to get F card?. Was it at the end of 6 months, earlier or later?

Regards
