My wife went to the commune to understand the process for applying for L type Card. However, they explained that she has some choices to either go for K type or L type card.

Now, my wife, although was on Dependent visa when we came to Belgium, had to apply (Company's requirement) for her own A type card when she started her job 5 years ago.

Does anybody has any idea about what us the difference between these 2 card types so as to help us as a Family decide which route to take.
