@musamutebi8 I can try:

"Visa-free" refers to short visits (up to a month, extendable to three months for certain reasons). All nationalities need a visa to work in Singapore, which the Singapore employer must apply for. Work visa are available only for full-time, fixed employment - not for temporary or casual jobs and usually only for candidates with demanded skills.

Since the New members thread is meant for introductions only, I have created this new thread on the Singapore forum from your post.

Hope you receive some advice soon.

@musamutebi8 Singapore is still an attractive destination for foreign workers - and welcomes many of them.

You just have to find a job. For that you need skills that employers need - and you must convince them to hire you, via a good job application and interview process. Is that any different in your country?

Swee Loke

Singapore only needs skilled workers and only preferably from Asia , China or SE Asian countries. There are minimal labour from Africa..

Ok thanks.

@Swee Loke When it comes to work pass, nowhere it publicly states that Singapore prefer Asian countries over other countries.

This is true only for the work pass types for skilled labour (mainly EP and S-Pass).

For WP (un- or lowly skilled labour) only a limited number of source countries is allowed - all of them in Asia!
