hi - my firm works internationally.  i've been asked to write a draft letter to a large architectural and land development firm in Jakarta.  This is small but may be important question - what form of pronoun is used there?  Would it be better to say "We would like to introduce our firm..."
or "I would like to introduce my firm..."
thanks for help - and if you know other faux pas to avoid, by all means, let me know!

Hi kittygirl,

I think its good to start with I and then for your services use we. It's how we present our company with possible clients.

Hope it helps

Dear Kittygirl,

Sorry for this late response I don't know if the letter had been sent to Jakarta ?

Here people in Indonesia normally use We rather than I ,because the word We here normally represents company and I will represent personal letter only, but if you have written I with your business letter it will be considered that you are from a very small company or you are really the owner of very big company..ei the CEO.

Best regards,
