Can't get into it - @SimCityAT
I know the feeling. It's a bit slow at first but it gets better by episode 3.
It reminds me of a Guy Ritchie movie. Some of the characters are straight out of his playbook/style.
2) Civil War
In the near future, a group of war journalists attempt to survive while reporting the truth as the United States stands on the brink of civil war.

I've been waiting for this one. Thanks for the tip. But I do wonder if its time has passed, given the Trump victory etc.
Omg amazing film
watch it,
On Netflix now - @SimCityAT
p.s. Civil War is not showing up on Netflix in HU. I searched for it as well. Must be an AT only thing. I'll get it another way.

I must remember to change my VPN to Hungary and check their films out.

We do have a "Films in Hungarian" section. Some of them are OK but nothing to write home about. The dubbed soundtrack is appalling usually. Very stilted and amateurish and unsync'd and even wrong. I'm usually watching foreign language films using the subtitles.
I don't know if it's on Netflix, there are some absolute classic HU movies - the one I liked the best was called Kontroll. It's set in the Hungarian metro system. Worth checking out. The director Nimród Antal went on to bigger things in Hollywood.
I refuse to pay for VPN providers right now. Some web sites are wise to the addresses and block them. Mainly I was using VPNs to watch the BBC and ITV but since I lost my own personal VPN in the UK (it was set up on my equipment at my late Dad's place), I've realised, it probably wasn't worth it as the TV shows are quite rubbish and I don't miss them.
I use my VPN, for Netflix, to watch the USA and UK. Also for Tubitv.com.
I have IPTV, so rarely watch iPlayer or ITVX.
It's on all the time for security as well.

The geo-location in general is a real nuisance for me. I want to get to some UK sites as I have things I do there but some block or get confused. I can get around it but it's fiddly for me to do.
I could make a permanent link to the UK using a VPN provider but then the others here would end up being restricted here. We have much better bandwidth here now. It was always a problem if the family wanted to do say, 2 x video conferencing and 1 x gaming at the same time. It just couldn't handle it. We only had a cable TV supplier for Internet. We dumped that ISP (called PR Telekom). We've now switched to HU Telekom's fibre "1Gbps". I put that in quotes because during weekends and holidays, it gets throttled back. The biggest problem currently is trying to overcome the pathetic and restrictive Telekom equipment.
iPlayer as a download is now stopped. It's still usable to stream. ITVx doesn't work on downloads as far as I remember. I was using them previously mostly for the football to get the commentary in English. We can see the game here usually but I wanted to see Lineker and guests etc commenting on the game at half- and full-time.
I use CyberGhoast for my VPN and can choose loads of different servers for each country. It also has a free 24 trial.

Thanks. I might give it a go.
It's a niche interest for those of a certain age, but early Dr Who episodes are being colourised. The latest one is airing on the BBC 4 and Iplayer if you can get it. It'll turn up on YouTube. This time, it's Patrick Troughton, the 2nd doctor getting the technicolour treatment. He evolves to Jon Pertwee at the end and we find out his regeneration is a result of a Time Lords' curse (I believe).
Squid Game 2 - on Netflix. In Korean with English subtitles.
Looks good so far, 2 episodes in (7 eps in season), bingeing this one.
Update: finished this one, final season in 2025. It's not Shakespeare but it will appear to some.
@fluffy2560
It was on BBC 1 on Christmas day I think.

I know but I'm VPN-less. Not got around to that over the holidays. I have to fix my incoming VPN to my house first as I need it for security. HU Telekom equipment is so bad, I have to get over their stupid limitations. It's a horror show of dumbed down dumbass technology.
And there's been a load of domestic BS to deal with. We're taking opportunity to sort through and try and get rid of our rubbish/trash. It's a serious problem disposing of stuff here. It's "Die Toten Hosen" during the two weeks of Xmas. Absolutely no real services apart from shops.
Wallace and Gromit will appear on Netflix, which we do have. I can wait for it. And of course, for all those naughty people who are on Santa's naughty download list, it's available that way too.
I haven't found the colourised Dr Who War Games "movie" yet. But I haven't been looking that hard.
Carry On
A young TSA agent fights to outsmart a mysterious traveller who blackmails him into letting a dangerous package slip onto a Christmas Eve flight.

On Netflix, an outstanding film. - @SimCityAT
Update: Watched this one on Netflix and it was indeed good. Jason Bateman acts against type. He was excellent in Ozark and he does a good job in this movie as well.
This one is a bit unusual - a musical narco-crime drama cum comedy - but it could be up for Oscars having won numerous awards previously with much praise for the cast. It was mentioned in reports of the Golden Globes. Available on Netflix. In Spanish with subtitles.
I have not been to the cinema for years but thinking of going just to see, The Brutalist.
Love Adrian Brody,s acting.
One of the 1956 ers who came to the USA.
In Colorado in 1975 a very wealthy 56 er rented a movie house for a night and invited hundreds of people to see a private made film about the 1956 revolution. Mostly made from the few reporters who covered it and many of them died while filming.
We attended the film.
Many or these well to do 1956ers in the US were very generous with other Hungarians.
Big difference from now days.
Drowning in debt, two brothers concoct a plan to scam a wealthy heiress and save their home in Naples — but unexpected love soon complicates the scheme.
This is a good watch on Netflix. Italian, but dubbed in English.
Another good watch on Netflix

Maybe the 1956 revolution movie is available on YouTube? I'd be interested in watching it. The Brutalist is a very Hungarian story. I'd in interested in seeing that one too. Not enough to go to the cinema though.

Neeson seems to be in loads of movies these days. All of them seem to have the same plot in some way.

True, but he is an easy actor to watch.

He is indeed an easy watch.
Usually the plot is Liam as an ex-CIA operative/cop/FBI agent/whatever against some insurmountable odds where he resurrects his skills to fight back against some plot of rogue operators/terrorists/blackmailers/robbers as a clock ticks down.
I've got a few of his to see that I've stacked up on Netflix.

I never have seen the exact film on U tube about 1956 as we saw in Denver. IDK, some sort of private collection of clips and interviews. It was interesting and had English subtitles/ Almost all that were there spoke Hungarian though.
The guy was nice, he personally greeted everyone as they came into the building. I guess that is called, A class act?
I have not gone to the cinema in years so a mid day matinee when the kids are in school might be nice.
Looked at cinema city but so far seems it is not playing here just yet.
