Hi there good people

Thanks for this useful website. I am a Mauritius resident - non citizen and I recently lost my Mauritius ID card. I have looked all over for it and can't find it. I went to the Grand Baie Police station to report it as lost and to find out if anyone had perhaps brought it to the Police station. I now have a Police Report. Please may you advise me how I can apply for a new Mauritius ID card as the processes that I see online seems to be about the Mauritius Smart card which is not what I had.

Was the card delivered by the EDB ?
