Portugal D7 Visa and Relocation Support

Post new topic

wrightfamtravel

Hello,

My wife and I will be retiring in December 2024 and plan to move to Portugal in 2025.

Can someone please recommend a good immigration service/lawyer that can help in that process?  I have found many listed but it is hard to know how to choose.

Thanks,

Brad

Hi Brad, Welcome.

You can do everything by yourself. The ideal is to make a preparatory visit to prepare the requirements for the visa. You can stay up to 90 days without a visa. The 1st link contains a lot of information about what you need.

Not that this is much help, but as you probably know, the immigration bureaucracy has gone through considerable upheaval recently.  I'm sure some offices that work in this area are really on top of that.  Maybe others not so much.  Wild card.
