Hi Everyone

I live in Munich and have the dependent residence permit. Recently I got a job offer as a full-time contractor for a company in UK, with no end date and I will be working remotely from Munich. They have mentioned that they will provide me the salary as mentioned in offer letter and I have to take care of Health Insurance, Pension, Social Security and taxes. Does anyone know how do I need to proceed with bureaucracy here to work in this format? Is anybody working in the similar manner already or know what are the needed steps here?

Appreciate your responses.

This has ben asked (and discussed in detail) many times since Brexit - you are not alone!

(You may want to search for those discussion threads!)

Unfortunately, German regulations and officialdom do not ake this easy or cheap: If you are less than fluent in (buerocratic) German or disinclined to deal with such issues, you should engage professional help for business registration, accountantcy and taxation - with fees that make most such engagements financially unattractive.

It will be better if I connect with a Tax advisor like what are my options here? Whether to go freelancing ?

You will effectively be a freelancer regardless from a standpoint of taxes and social contributions. Even if you are technically employed, if the employer is elsewhere then you have to cover your entire healthcare etc. The employer is not in Germany making what would be their legal contribution, so you have to cover everything.
