Hello

My wife did not pass the medical to get an ID and was forced to leave the UAE in 2019.

Please tell me, can I, as a UAE resident, apply for her family visa and how can I do this?

I will be very grateful for the information.🙏🙏🙏

thanks

for my case, I went to Muhaisnah medical center (Building 5 or 7 i forgot), and explain the situation. The lady from counter told me to send below documents to Dubai Health by email to remove the Ban. They will provide you the email addresses.

1) Passport copy (Both)

2) Visa Copy (Both)

3) Attested Marriage Certificate

4) Unfit certificate

5) Arabic Unfit certificate

If you don't have Arabic Unfit certificate, show Unfit Certificate to that lady from counter and request to her. They will check in system and give you the Arabic unfit certificate.

Once all the documents in hand, send email to Dubai health and explain your situation. They may not reply you immediately and you will need to send follow up email few times. Eventually Dubai Health will issue a letter.

Once you receive the letter from Dubai Health, print out that letter and go to immigration to confirm Immigration also remove the Ban from their side. If Immigration side is clear, then you can apply family visa for her.

All the best.

In case I wanted to leave and look for work directly there, how do I do it?

@Sky87 I have got job offer in Abu Dhabi & recently married. I am planning to move by Jan'25 and bring her by Mar'25. She has OLD TB scar. Will i be able to get her dependent Visa even with TB Scar. Do we need to tell the medical center that she had TB in the past and is cured now?

Hi Ishackm,

As i understand from this forum, old TB scar for dependent visa will be any issued. Your wife can get 1 year visa (Under Fit with condition medical certificate). Follow up check up may (or may not) be required. Make sure not to apply the Employment visa for her and it will make nightmare to you. She can get dependent visa easily if it's not active TB.

If you want to make sure for her dependent visa, i suggest you below. These are not mandatory but at least can help you a lot.

1) bring her to Dubai,

2) do medical check in government hospital in Dubai,

3) explain the situation to specialist about old TB and show all the medical record

4) Request Specialist from government hospital to write medical report that mentioned your wife don't have any active TB.

5) Show medical report to medical center when your wife conduct medical test for dependent Visa.

Again, these are not the mandatory requirements. Just proactive actions and these documents can help when need to talk with Medical fitness center during medical test for dependent Visa.

All the best. Cheers!

@Sky87 Thanks a lot mate for your reply..If I understand clearly you want me to bring her in visiting visa, and then do the necessary steps and only after that apply for dependent visa.

Regards.

@ishackm, I suggest for it. Again, myself also new here. My wife got medical unfit on her employment visa due to scar on lung and now i am in progress of applying spouse visa for her now. Whatever I share here is based on what i am doing now. Dubai Health lifted the Ban yesterday and now I am waiting Immigration to lift from their end. Then, I will proceed to apply family visa for her.
