Hello, I am trying to find a hotel for my stay in BA. With all the economic problems your country is facing and inflation being so high, how can a hotel room cost at a minimum of $140 per night?

Is that the going rate for a hotel or do you think its cuz i am securing it from a portal outside of BA and using USD to pay that it is so expensive or do you think that is the standard rate at the moment? How do you get hotels cheaper book in person? I am coming in high season and feel everything will be booked or expensive....any advice?

I always start with Booking (dot com) or sometimes Airbnb (dot com) when I'm visiting a new city. Booking has a map view plus you can sort by reviews or price.

I don't know when you're searching, or exactly how refined your tastes are... but my guess is that there are cheap but decent apartments and hotels starting at 20-25 bucks per night. If they let you reserve, but pay at the hotel, then you can save further money by changing your USD on the black market and paying in cash.

However, Buenos Aires is a big capital city with plenty of upscale hotels in the nicest areas. So you can easily spend hundreds of dollars per night if you want to.
