Private Health Insurance in Spain

Post new topic

njadwriter

I have been researching private health insurance in Spain for several weeks. My wife and I are both over 65, so there are limited options. The two companies that would provide coverage for us are Cigna Global and Adelas. I would appreciate any information members of the groups could share. Thanks, Bob

We are 69 years old and Sanitas was a very good fit.

We are 70 years old and went through an insurance broker called GIDEA.  They set us up with DKV which is a German company.  They have a medical network that provides medical services.  The cost for us was less than Medicare Part B alone...plus in the U.S. we had to pay monthly premiums for supplemental medicare insurance.

The people at GIDEA speak English and are very helpful.  There were absolutely no problems and we are renewing our NLV next month.  The policy is renewable and complies with the visa renewal requirements.

Wishing you the best.

I think there are many more than 2 options. You can get the full list by using a comparison site such as Rastreator or Acierto.
