is there anyone here with a Dutch mother who met the conditions for the option procedure and then found out how to get from the Dutch govt. a copy of their mothers passport, and, certificates of nationality for when she left the Netherlands and at the date of your own birth?

while I meet the criteria unfortunately I don’t have the documents.

Welcome on board 🤗

What you can do is to contact the town hall of the place where your mother was born and ask for a birth certificate. If she got married in the Netherlands too you can ask for her wedding certificate as well.

Although you didn't mentioned where you were born but I am sure the municipality office have some records too that might be useful.

Good luck 🤞🏻

I'm assuming that you are required to provide the documents in question. The Dutch government will have records of your mother having a passport but they won't have an active copy of it (and all stamps, etc, which I'm assuming they'd want?).

If you don't have this paperwork I'd contact them directly - this link is at the bottom of the page you cited. Dutch government employees will definitely tell you what is needed and what is possible if you don't have the paperwork in question. Best of luck!
