Hi,
I'm an oversea student, currenly in Beijing and I wanna buy my own motobike (small one, about 150~200cc), but I'm pretty new here. And I really don't wanna be ripped off. So a little help for the locals or pros would be really awesome.
Cheers ^^

G'day Max.
I am in a smaller city of Jiangsu province.
I found Yamaha and Suzuki new 250cc bikes to be around 22,000yuan.
If you go for a local manufactured bike using the above mechanicals, ie engines and gearbox they are a little cheaper again. As an Aussie, whos dollars are near parity with US, its about $3000.
I know the same bikes back home cost at LEAST double that.
Its the difference between a population of 30million in Australia, and that's the normal population of one city here!

One final tip, Secure a SOLID chain or cable for security.
If possible source one from overseas so as the local thieves will be less familiar with the lock!

G'day mate.
Did you know that the beach in my picture is Bondi? LOL
Anyway, thanks for your help, brah. I'll have a look into it.
Cheers
