Can i travel to Austria from italy with pds receivuta?

Hello guys.


i applied for my first permesso di soggiorno 6 months ago. And i haven't receive my card yet. But i need to travel to Austria to see my sister. She is sick. My passport stamp visa is also expired. What should i do now? How can i legally travel to austria and come back italy without facing any problem? Thanks in advance
