98 Land Rover with British plates in Kenya. Registration

1998 Land Rover with British plates already in Kenya. Someone required to register it. I have an old Land Rover (1998) in Kenya with British number plates, and I would like to register it in Kenya. However, it is old and doesn’t meet the current requirements for imported vehicles, so I don’t think it would be easy. Hence, I am looking for someone to help me. If someone can help, I would be grateful.

Often if a vehicle is in Kenya with a foreign registration, duty was never paid and the rules weren't always so rigorously enforced. Better find out if duty was ever paid, as the bill could now be quite large if you try and register it and duty wasnt paid.

Hi, the NTSA deals with vehicle registration. If there is the scenario where duty hasnt been paid, then it would have to be paid as a first step.
