Hi SimCityAT!
Thank you for the warm welcome

Hi everyone!
Did you know? Every year, Luxembourg publishes a list of "occupations in very high demand" in the country.
Using this list can be very useful for finding a job, especially for people living outside the European Union. Indeed, it is easier to obtain a visa application if you are hired for a job that is part of this list.
You can view it by clicking here.
Did you know that list existed?
Let me know!

I am 3d architectural visualize,I want to know my job prospects over there in Luxumberg,If possible advice
@binu3d
Hi binu3d!
Do you mainly work with architecture firms on small projects (such as private houses or 3D modeling of specific rooms like kitchens), or do you work more on large construction projects (such as buildings, BIM practice, etc.)?
Thank you!
Lauranne
Please,I need someone that will sponsor my visa with my traveling documents
@senatoryusuf1
Hi senatoryusuf1,
In order to have a visa sponsorship, you must find a job first. If you have a valid passport and the financial means to do it, you can also apply for a temporary authorization to stay in Luxembourg, come here and look for a job once you are in the country. You can then ask for a visa / residence permit. You will find more information about this process here.
You can also try to contact Luxembourg Embassy in your country, see if they can help you with this process, and / or contact your country's Embassy in Luxembourg. What do you think?
Talk to you soon,
Lauranne

Bhavna
@Bhavna yes we are requesting for information on employer , companies that have jobs with visa sponsorship...i am sure this is actually the best information, while after reading about jobs hiring we can forward our CV for acceptance and confirmation for job offer.
@rehealth13
Hi rehealth13,
Thank you for your message Expat.com is not a job search agency, and we cannot find a job for you; we can't receive your passport or your CV. As @Bhavna stated, we are here to share information to help you as much as we can, by telling you what are the best websites to look for a job for example, or by giving advice on how you can adapt your CV to make sure it meets the Luxembourg standards. And for security reasons, I strongly recommend that you do not share personal information in public spaces on the internet. Always make sure to provide this information only to relevant people and in a secure manner .
However, I would be happy to answer any questions you may have, as much as I can. I see that you are looking for a job in the agricultural sector. For this, I highly recommend checking out this topic. You will find valuable advice on the subject there.
I hope this helps!

@BRIGHTAKOTUAH
Hi BRIGHTAKOTUAH,
I'm sorry to say it's very difficult to answer to that question, as it can vary completely from one person to another, depending on the country where you got your diploma from, the agent in charge of your file.... What I can tell you though, is that Luxembourgish administrations are usually quite fast - and faster than most administrations in the world, so I would be surprised if it were to take more than 3 to 4 months (and it will probably be faster than that if your file is complete).
You can try ask them directly when sending your diploma, or just after sending it. They usually answer.
Sorry I can't be more precise here!

Hi Joe,
To find a job in Luxembourg, I suggest you check this page of the guide first. you'll find many info on the process, and several links to Luxembourgish job search websites at the end. I specifically recommend using Job.lu, Moovijob.lu and the Adem Job board.
Since you have experience in upholstery and carpentry, you might also want to check the Chambre des métiers website.
Does this help?
Thank you,
Lauranne

For job search information, I feel that my previous response might contain information that applies to you as well. Is that the case?
Regarding obtaining a visa, my role here is to assist members by providing useful information. I cannot obtain a visa or complete the process for members. If you want information on the general process, I invite you to read this page of the guide. I think it will answer many of your questions.

What do you think? Have I answered your questions?

Hi everyone!
I came across this website this morning, launched by the Luxembourg government. It’s a job search site dedicated to occupations that are in high demand in the country.
The list is available on the site. These include jobs such as nurses, nursingassistants, bankcustomeradvisors, many positions in construction, industry, and production, psychologists, accountants, and quite a few ITroles. The list is really long!
The advantage of this site is that it allows you to upload your CV online. Employers can access it and benefit from incentives if they hire for the jobs on this list. It’s a particularly interesting system for people from outside the EU, as they can then obtain a residence permit more quickly.
There are also job openings listed on the site, so it’s worth checking out if you’re looking for a job!
Feel free to share your feedback here if you use this site, so that your experience can benefit other members.
Thanks, and see you soon!
Lauranne
