What attracts / has attracted you to Luxembourg?

Hello everyone!

I thought it would be interesting to share what makes us want to settle in Luxembourg, what keeps us here, and also discuss the less positive aspects of the country (or the challenges encountered in moving here).

For me, what initially attracted me was the international and multicultural aspect of the country. I love the possibility of speaking multiplelanguages daily, being able to drive to another country in 30 minutes to an hour, and the omnipresence of nature throughout the country.

Since I’ve been here, I’ve also come to appreciate the highqualityof life, which is really enjoyable, thanks to the simplicity of administrativeprocedures, the availability of numerous support services if needed, and the friendliness of the people. I feel like I’m living in a bit of a protected bubble 1f605.svg.

However, there are also some negativeaspects. The cost of realestate is very (too!) high, making access to housing difficult, especially with the extensive documentation required.

Additionally, traffic can be quite a headache due to congestion, particularly during rush hours (which, to be fair, cover a rather broad time range!).

What about you?

What initially attracted you to Luxembourg? What keeps you here? Are there things you appreciate less?

If you’re not here yet, what attracts you to Luxembourg, and what do you hope to find? Are you encountering any difficulties in your efforts to move here, and if so, what are they?

I look forward to reading your responses!

Talk to you soon,

Lauranne
