Permanent Paraguayan residency and the ONCE visit every 3 years

So, I am a permanent resident and have been for quite some time.  How strictly does PY enforce this rule of visitng once every 3 years?  Should I be worried if I will be visiting once in 3.5 years (I'm basically missing my 3 year anniversary by 6 months)?  Can someone please provide some anecdotes and/or examples of people losing their residency in this regard?  Thanks
