Hi, I have several questions:

  1. Will I be fined if my wife keeps the baby in the hands but not in the baby car chair.
  2. Am I allowed to smoke anywhere outside, or there are any restrictions?
  3. How long can I drive with my driving licence if I am not from a EU country?
  4. Average price for cost of living? (I heard it is not expensive)
  5. How long it takes to get permit to live?
  6. Is it good to move in Catalunya or no?

@Timo Fischer, my replies to some of your questions below:

  1. Will I be fined if my wife keeps the baby in the hands but not in the baby car chair. Yes, that is not legal in Spain. And additionally, it is not safe for the baby.
  2. Am I allowed to smoke anywhere outside, or there are any restrictions? There are restrictions outside near hospitals, playgrounds and others. You cannot smoke within some meters of these locations (do not remember exactly the meters)
  3. How long can I drive with my driving licence if I am not from a EU country? 90 days, after this you have to get a Spanish driving license
  4. Average price for cost of living? (I heard it is not expensive) It depends where you choose to live. If it is a big city such as Madrid or Barcelona, it will be more expensive than a small town far from these cities.
