For approval of a work pass, a lot of requirements must be met.

One of them is that the offered salary is in line with market norms for the kind of job and person.

What is your market value? Is it S$6400/month, or S$4000/month?

@beppi some paying 3000 and some companies paying 7000 also . depends on company. depends on company handle how much work.

@ayaan6 Your market value (in MoM's eyes) is certainly a much smaller range.

You could try to check salary surveys (which are published by some consultancies in regular intervals) to find out what you are worth.
