Food and expenses in general.

cdw057

I posted something on expat (re numbeo)

I am happy that prices are updated from time to time, however for example restaurants prices indicated are too low, even if average (but good restaurants), you have to expect a bill for two) of EUR 50 (starter, main and tea). For the very good restaurants is EUR 60 (good service and for me no problem to pay the price, but is close to Western Europe)

My wife found a good seller of chikens and Durum respectively for TRY 250 and TRY 100 (more than enough for  both) for 2 days, things are possible for people in limited budget (Still also for Numbeo).

I have said things the start, you have to have cash, Turkey is by no way poor, minimum salary is higher then in Hungary.

If you come here, no way a deprived country. I like Turkey and I live to here, but please do not expect coming with a low pension. (advise if so stay away)
