Has anyone applied for Naturalização provisório for their children after coming to Brazil? How was the process and how long did it take? i would like to do this for my eldest child and would like some info. Thanks

It can only be applied for kids who hold permanent residency and are under 10 years of age. After applying through the naturalizer se website, the process usually takes around 1 year to complete. During the process, you are required to go to your local policia federal immigration office for biometrics of the child, and your home is visited by the Policia Federal officials unannounced and interviews are conducted with you and your neighbours to confirm that you indeed reside at your given address.
