Tourist Visa to Residency Visa in Kuwait

Good morning everyone !

I wanted to know if anybody on that forum had already tried to transfer a tourist visa to a residency visa in Kuwait?

I'm an expat in Kuwait and my wife and kids are about to come with a tourist visa as they hold European passports.

In the Kuwait ministerial decree 957 of 2019 it clearly says in article 16 that it is possible. However I've tried to ask around with my PRO

at work but it seems to be that they don't really know. Has anyone heard about it or maybe even done it ?
