Dear community,

Has anyone here applied for car insurance in Austria? The rates are insane from what I know. As a foreigner with a 9th category (or whatever it’s called), what are some of the more reasonable insurance companies I should look into?

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Sadly they are all pretty much the same, you can find an insurance broker and they will find you the best deal, or you you go to a few insurance companies and pick the best price.p

I suggest you Google insurance companies and that will list them in your area.
