Hi,

My name is Zamirrea

I am currently trying to make an important decision, where in Europe should I move to?

I plan to study abroad to set this move in motion, but I'm not sure where exactly I should go.

I want to move somewhere that will allow me to work a for positions in financial analysis, risk management, quantitative analysis, data science in finance, portfolio management, or algorithmic trading after obtaining my Bachelors degree.

I'm seeking a career with a strong work-life balance that allows time for travel and creative hobbies. I want to work for companies that value productivity without forcing a 'live to work' mentality. I prefer modern work environments that aren't clique-driven or focused on forced participation—I simply want to do my job well, get paid, and go home.

I am considering Greece right now, but I am open to other suggestions.

Questions About Greece:

  1. Is Greece a country that can offer these in work environments?
  2. What is thecost of living in different cities (housing, groceries, transportation, etc.)?
  3. What is the work culture like in Greece?
  4. Will it be difficult to find work as a foreigner?
  5. Will having a Bachelors in Finances/Financial Engineering/Business Administration help me find work in Greece and other EU countries?
  6. Do Greek work places support career development?
  7. Is there a demand for financial professionals in Greece?
  8. What are some other things I should consider?

I can't really answer your questions, but when moving to a new country you really need to speak the local language.

Have a look at this site to give you an idea of cost of living comparison...
