Iqama Profession Change

Is it allowed to change profession on Iqama from Engineer to IT related or Administration related profession?

May i know the reason behind why you want to change your iqama from Engineer to IT related or Administration profession?

In order to align with new employment offer.

The process starts from your end (yourself) by visiting the nearest office of the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) and request to change your SCE membership from Engineer to IT. Bring with you your Diploma in IT, academic transcripts (all level) which is apostilled, verified, and attested from Saudi embassy in your home country. Do this to minimize obstacles and difficulties when you registered online. 

After obtaining SCE membership IT certificate, submit to your HR department (Idariyah) or sponsor (Kafeel). They will change through the QIWA platform. Then after the MOL confirms your application, your employer will issue a new Iqama ID card indicating your change in IT profession.

is it same if i need to change the profession to Administration profession like business intelligence specialist. Do i need to visit SCE to change from Engineer to Business consulting specialist.

I dont have dedicated degree in IT but I had subjects in IT and Computers in my Eloctonics Engineering. These subjects are available as part of My SCE membership.

Can Someone please help with above question
